On May 19, 2025, Dr. Zlata Vuksanović-Macura delivered a keynote lecture and participated in a panel discussion at the Symposium on Social and Affordable Housing, hosted by the Department of International Urbanism at the University of Stuttgart. Together with Ms. Brankica Jelić, director of the Housing Agency Čačak, Dr. Vuksanović-Macura presented a lecture entitled “The Social Housing Projects in Čačak: Challenges and Perspectives”. The event gathered researchers and professionals from Denmark, Portugal, and Germany, who shared their experiences and insights on current issues in the field of social and affordable housing. In addition to the DASH project participants, the symposium was also attended by students and faculty members from the University of Zambia. The symposium took place from May 19 to 21, 2025.
The szmposium was organised within the framework of the third thematic workshop of the DASH – Deliver sAfe and Social Housing project, in which the Institute is actively involved as a partner institution. The DASH project is funded by the European Union through the Horizon Europe programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (Grant Agreement No. 101086488).
The thematic workshop in Germany also served as an opportunity for secondments by the Institute’s project team members: Dr. Zlata Vuksanović-Macura, Dr. Dejan Doljak, Dr. Dragana Miljanović, and Dr. Marko Filipović. The secondments, hosted by the University of Stuttgart and the City of Tübingen, are an integral part of the DASH project’s training and mobility activities.
