The Geographical Institute "Jovan Cvijić" SASA in cooperation with the University of Niš supports the European program Erasmus+ with the project Mapping Cultural Heritage Geosciences Value in Higher Education (MINERVA). The first Intellectual Output (IO1) of the project entitled Competency Framework for the teaching of Geotechnologies for Cultural Heritage is released and is available from the following link: https://minerva-erasmus.com/outputs.

The project is financed through Erasmus + and the Italian national agency INDRE, The consortium is made of the University of Florence (Italy), the University “Jean Monnet” of Saint-Étienne (France), the University of Castilla–La Mancha (Spain), DIPYLON, Society for the study of ancient topography (Greece), Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts (Slovenia), and University of Niš (Serbia).

The MINERVA project is based on transdisciplinary and cross-border tools that will be used to develop the efficiency of the learning approach in Cultural Heritage and Geosciences. The main goal of the project is the development and promotion of digital geographical platforms for cultural heritage research in higher education, through Massive Open Online Courses.
