Geographical Institute "Jovan Cvijc" SASA organizes, within its basic occupation, solemnly or in cooperation with other institutions, scientific conferences and meetings in Serbia and abroad. The decision on organization of scientific conferences is assined to the scientific board, with addmition of Managing Board of the Institute, based on application on conference organization. The organizational board and scientific board is conssisted of members of the Institute. The theme of conference, as a rule, should not be beyond the scope of  geography and related sciences. It should also provide a wide range of contributions for a specific scientific issues, in theoretical, social and practical terms.
